Throughout the course of the entire year, not just second semester, I've learned that in order to properly present an idea in front of a group, one must be entirely prepared to do so. From collecting sources to keeping a blog, every piece of the pie must be in place. I have also learned that if I want to survive in college, I must not procrastinate on any of my projects or papers. This bad habit of waiting until the last minute does not serve me well and leads to an underdeveloped paper or thesis.
In class I've observed that working in a group may seem like the best idea, but it is not always the case. Sometimes, when one is working with others, it is easy to get sidetracked and lose focus. In college, I must remember this in order to successfully complete all of my assignments on time with effective collaboration.
Next fall, I plan on attending the University of Michigan to study business management. At this accredited institution, I will utilize the skills I learned here in English IV every day. From planning to execution, English IV has helped me improve my strengths and recognize my weaknesses.
